This mantra is in praise of Mahāmāyūrī Vidyārājñī who has attained wisdom. Mahāmāyūrī Vidyārājñī can be seen seated on the Peacock King (mayūra-rājñah) whose body is full of glittering gold. Peacock King is able to swallow all poisons and has the merits of transforming these posions. Those who chant this mantra will be ridden of all poisons.
